Raglan’s Journal 30

Having had a busy morning with two ancient dragons and more, we rested for the rest of the day, not feeling able to do any other good in the war effort in the day. I passed the day in the library, falling asleep on my books. Realizing I wasn’t going to learn any more that day, I returned to my room for the night.

In the morning, we were awakened and informed that House Grey had summoned devils that were attacking House Damian held cities. They were deploying soldiers to the cities but requested our aide. We took a group large enough to retain the city through Juniper’s tree portal and went into the city.

There I saw by my Raven’s telepathic link where the Pit Fiend was, but we were ambushed by archers. They were mostly ineffectual and we ran past them to the devil, killing only a couple on the way as opportunity arose. As Juniper and I engaged, Juniper as an air elemental, Anduin banished our foe completely away. He called that he needed a minute to complete the banishment and I climbed down from the building to keep the other invaders off him. They were easy targets and the devil was soon banished and the city captured.

I assume we will soon be making our way to other cities, where I doubt Anduin will be able to banish all the devils and may need more of our help.

These journal entries are going to be in-character play reports from ByW’s campaign, which we alternated playing with the Tyranny of Mundanity campaign and now the Primordial Frontier campaign. My character, Raglan “the Light”, admires RiH’s character, Anduin Damian and follows him believing his place in history will be as a companion of the royal adventurer. He is impressed with their elven companion, Juniper (played by BiW), but does not know her well.
