Raglan’s Journal 19

Bringing the wagons through the teleportation circle proved to be a very profitable tactic. Though a several guards were killed in the surprise of enemy forces arriving this way, we were able to revive most of them, and the caravan we stole contained a great deal of astrite weapons and armor that will be a great boon to our army and valuable to have denied the enemy.

The battle itself was our first operation fighting side-by-side with Sigmund, one of the House Damian knights who has joined us to protect Anduin and learn with us. He is an incredible warrior and almost convinces me to accept the power of a deity. Despite the slaughter we inflicted on enemy forces, their leader, a nobleman of House Grey, escaped somehow. How we know not, But Sigmund was sure by some magic that he was not still within the facility.

I know not what impact these raids will have on the enemy, but they glorify Anduin if nothing else, and I believe that his plan to sow uncertainty among them and draw their forces to unproductive quarters will be of great value to the war effort in general.

These journal entries are going to be in-character play reports from ByW’s campaign, which we are going to alternate playing with the Tyranny of Mundanity campaign and the coming Primordial Frontier campaign. My character, Raglan “the Light”, admires RiH’s character, Anduin Damian and follows him believing his place in history will be as a companion of the royal adventurer. He is impressed with their elven companion, Juniper (played by BiW), but does not know her well.
