Seemingly a mundane lasso of very fine rope, this implement can be used to bind the wind itself to the user’s whim. For example:
1 charge: As an action, the lasso can be cast into the prevailing wind, catching onto it and experiencing a force as if a sail of the user’s desired size up to 30′ x 30′, which pulls the user or whatever he has bound the rope to in the direction of the wind.
2 charges: As an action, the lasso can be used to change the direction or location of mundane and magical winds, including Gust of Wind and Wind Wall.
3 charges: As an action, the lasso can be thrown as a finesse melee attack against a wind based creature (e.g. Air Elemental, Dust Mephit) within 20′. On a hit, the creature is effected as with Dominate Monster, making the saving throw at disadvantage and a DC of 18.
The tether has 6 charges that are recovered after a long rest.
