Divine Artifact-Fishing Flute

FishingFlute“Bargemaster, we’d like to go ashore; do some hunting.”

“Not in these lands, I fear,” the bargemaster replied. “Orcs’re probably watching from the shore even as we speak. Dylan, call up some fish for them.”

Dylan began to play a stylized flute and Marvin dropped a line in the river.

“But I haven’t seen more than a couple fish so far on our journey—”

He was interrupted when Marvin pulled a fish from the river.

Fishing Flute

A useful item, especially to Omalin‘s worshipers who frequent the ponds and rivers. The fishing flute plays with a smooth, gurgling sound and calls fish toward the player, 1d6 at any given time, from with 100 feet in any direction. It is a common tool of barge workers and fishermen loyal to the Spirit upon Fresh Waters.

How would you like having such a source of food on hand? Worth carrying around? Worth drawing attention to yourself to use?
