The week started well, but slowed so much by the end that I’m going to need a good start this week just to get caught up with everything. I guess it’s been a long time since I’ve held myself to a schedule and it may be time to start again, to make sure my productivity=reward based tasks get some time; right now they’re overwhelmed by time spent=reward type tasks and I’m becoming lazier.
I have spent a lot of time thinking about what the map maker needs to be able to do. I could use some help. When you create maps using a digital tool, what kinds of features do you expect? I’m fairly confident that if it can handle all the crazy maps I like to make (See Rotating Labyrinth, but I’m also planning a new one in a turning sphere) that it can handle just about anything (yes, I’m planning to let Non-Euclidean geometry and bigger-on-the-inside things happen, if you want). But another important question is what people use the most, so that I can make it the most accessible. I could use as much feedback as I get on this matter, so please feel free to comment below with your insights. Thanks!
