The Drude howled in its fog form as it was cast out of the warrior it had possessed. This was the second enemy the raggedy wizard had denied him with his spell of Will. The wizard’s allies would not let the Drude near enough to harm him, and the wizard was the only one who could strike him in his fog form. He had one option left to him.
He suspected that the wizard had a stronger will than his allies, but now he had to try for him. As the Drude’s fog swooped down, the wizard stood defiantly. The Drude had never struck against such resolution! He was repelled and the gout of fire followed his retreat. He was finished.
If you don’t know the Mind Weave enchanting rules, this resource will help you keep up: Enchanter’s Almanack. If you’re not sure if you know the Mind Weave enchanting rules, then you don’t. As of right now there are maybe 3 or 4 of us, and even I need to consult the Almanack from time to time (and I wrote it).
A Resolute Robe is hardly unique. An order of devil hunters produced them to protect themselves and there are as many of dozens in the world. Resolute Robes can be hard to recognize. They are most often grey and well-worn, so as to appear unremarkable. They are highly sought after, for a Resolute Robe can make even the most fickle strong of will.
Components: Ru, Siu, Juo, Order (Full)x3 , Des (Advanced Positivity Arc)x4, Ra (Advanced Good Radius)x2
Understand Artifact: 95 to understand it is activated by wearing it. 110 to know it enhances will.
As it turns out, this enchantment is best made with an epic enchant. I would have liked to use a lower level of enchant, but to do so greatly reduces the effectiveness. I use a charge based enchant with 1 charge and a 8 second cooldown and recharge. The enchantment is activated automatically whenever it is worn having a charge. It casts a spell which encharges the wearer with 4 perpetually repeating charges. Each charge has 65.52 power, giving the wearer a constant bonus of +10.95 to all Will checks. This is enough to give even a character with no Will a great chance of throwing off possessions from a creature such as a Drude.
How’d you like seeing an enchantment? Would you wear a Resolute Robe? Would you make one yourself? What enchantments would you make? Tell us below and we may do it in a coming week.
