Ability Tuesday-Magical Scholasticism

Magical Scholasticism is an ability inspired by my time as a college student. It is the ability to forget magical components and replace them with other components with a little study, the primary skill of scholars.

In Mind Weave, spells are cast using components, and components are learned by taking levels in the various schools of magic. However, any caster is limited to Intelligence*2 components he can know at a time. Magical Scholasticism allows a character to trade known components for forgotten components in order to access those forgotten components without increasing intelligence.

This ability is especially useful for magic users who focus on the high variety approach to casting, especially in a supportive and highly planned fashion where they have time to trade out components.

Would you get magical scholasticism? How would it affect the way you choose your components? Comment below to let us know.
