Double Jump is one of the few utility major abilities (Parkour seemed too cool to be a minor ability). It’s an obvious choice, though, for any character looking to be an Altaïr (Assassin’s Creed), an Aladdin, or a Prince of Persia type fighter. At low levels it allows the character to jump off of walls and other surfaces for a second, third, fourth, or even fifth leap, Jackie Chan style. At higher levels (5 and above) the character can use Spell Points to jump without any surface at all in mid-air, Mario style. Thus, this ability can significantly increase the mobility of a character given enough levels or enough surfaces.
This ability is readily available to Monks, Thieves, Assassins, and Rogues, but other classes could obtain it in their backstory by having a street rat background or special military training. Obtaining it cross class would require express training in jumping for most characters.
