Borilth Terinshidl-Gnome Fighter

Borilth enlisted early in life, qualifying to join a highly specialized battle group that hunted rock beasts in the mines. Despite being part of the tight-knit group, Borilth grew more and more solitary. When it became known that he was creeping out to combat the beasts on his own on other shifts, he was deemed a danger to himself and expelled from the gnome army.
Borilth longed for the battle. Shortly following his expulsion, he left Gliendendeep and set out for the surface, seeking a new life on his own. He found work as a mercenary, as an assassin, as a body guard. He made few friends, withdrawing into himself ever further as the years passed. All that mattered was the chance to fight and he came to relish the blood of an unsuspecting target.
Borilth is planned to be an unpleasant, anti-social character. The player needs to be confident his party member players will not get offended if his character is offensive toward their characters. He must also ensure the party will tolerate border-line evil party members.
In Borilth’s backstory I am fishing for a couple of abilities, mostly backstab and stealth, but also perhaps rage and sunder. If those backstory abilities are not given, Borilth can easily be played to get rage and backstab and sunder is available as a fighter ability. These abilities play toward Borilth’s high intelligence and dexterity. Borilth’s good constitution gives him high survivability as well.
